Unfortunately, purchasing gold certificates isn't available online via WebBroker. But, if you’d like to buy/sell gold certificates through TD Direct Investing, if you have a TD Direct Investing Account, you can call the TD Direct Investing Support Line at 1-800-465-5463, open 24/7. Once purchased over the phone, the certificates would be held in your TD Direct Investing account. For a schedule of fees to do this, check out the following page and click on ‘Commission Schedule and Statement of Disclosure of Rates and Fees’ found on the right side of the page. On another note, please note that you can also buy gold certificates at TD by visiting: * Your local TD branch: I recommend making an appointment between 8:00am and 4:00pm EST, Monday to Friday, as gold is only available for purchase or sale during these times. The branch advisor will provide you with the current price, exchange rate (if necessary, as gold trades in USD), and verify with you if you’re satisfied with the proposed quote. If you agree to it, the gold certificate(s) will then be shipped to the branch, and you’ll be notified when it arrives.
